According to the survey, 51 percent of people are afraid of them. Next, the survey found that 40 percent of people are afraid of speaking in public. Only 11 percent of people said they are afraid of crowds, and just five percent of people are afraid of the dark. Mice, however, were quite high on the list—20 percent of people are afraid of them.
